Allan Slaight Relief Fund

I’m very happy to announce some exciting news that passes our way from Magicana.  

Thanks to a very generous contribution from the Slaight Family Foundation, a fund has been created to provide support to professional magicians in Canada during this extremely difficult time.  The fund is intended for full time, professional magicians who, in most cases, have lost all gigs and contracts for the foreseeable future – in the midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic. 

Magicians may apply for a maximum of $500.00 per month of support from the fund.  While it certainly won’t replace the income that many have lost – every little bit helps.  On behalf of the Canadian Association of Magicians, as well as professional magicians across the country I offer my sincere thanks to the Slaight Family for their incredible generosity.
